આ વેક્સિનને નિર્ધારિત કાર્યક્રમ હેઠળ રશિયાના સ્વાસ્થ્ય મંત્રાલય અને રેગ્યુલેટરી બોડીનું અપ્રૂવલ મળી ગયું છે. રશિયાની વેક્સિન Gam-Covid-Vac Lyoને રક્ષા મંત્રાલય અને ગામાલેયા નેશનલ સેન્ટર ફોર રિસર્ચ ઓન એપિડેમિયોલોજી એન્ડ માઇક્રોબાયોલોજીએ સાથે મળીને તૈયાર કરી છે. આ વિશ્વની સૌથી પહેલી વેક્સિન હોવાનો દાવો કરવામા આવ્યો છે. સપ્ટેમ્બરમાં તેનુ ઉત્પાદન કરીને ઓક્ટોબર સુધી લોકો સુધી પહોંચાડવાની તૈયારી શરૂ થઇ ગઇ છે.

રશિયાએ એક મહિના પહેલા સંકેત આપ્યા હતા કે તેઓ વેક્સિન ટ્રાયલમાં સૌથી આગળ છે અને 10થી12 ઓગસ્ટ વચ્ચે વેક્સિન રજીસ્ટર્ડ કરાવી લેશે. જોકે આ વેક્સિન અંગે અમેરિકા અને બ્રિટન રશિયા પર ભરોસો કરતા નથી. રશિયા પર વેક્સિનનો ફોર્મ્યુલા ચોરી કરવાના આરોપ પણ લાગી રહ્યા છે. રશિયાએ કહ્યું- દરેક જરૂરી ટ્રાયલ કરવામા આવ્યા છે.

રશિયાની ન્યૂઝ એજન્સી તાસના જણાવ્યા પ્રમાણે મંગળવારે દેશના ટોચના અધિકારીઓ સાથે બેઠકમાં રાષ્ટ્રપતિ પુતિને કહ્યું- જ્યાં સુધી મને ખબર છે, આજે સવારે વિશ્વમાં પહેલી વખત કોરોનાવાયરસથી બચાવ માટે એક વેક્સિન રજીસ્ટર્ડ કરાવી લેવામાં આવી છે. પુતિને સ્વાસ્થ્ય મંત્રી મિખાઇલ મુરાશકોને આ મામલે વિસ્તૃત જાણકારી આપવા માટે કહ્યું છે. મુરાશકોએ કહ્યું- મને જાણકારી આપવામા આવી છે કે આપણી વેક્સિન સારા પ્રભાવ સાથે કામ કરે છે અને સારી ઇમ્યુનિટિ પેદા કરે છે. તેના માટે જરૂરી બધા ટ્રાયલ પૂર્ણ કરવામા આવ્યા છે.

આ મહિને મોટાપાયે ત્રણ ટ્રાયલ થશે

રશિયાના રક્ષા મંત્રાલયના જણાવ્યા પ્રમાણે વેક્સિન ટ્રાયલના પરિણામ સામે છે. તેમાં સારી ઇમ્યુનિટી વિકસિત થવાના પ્રમાણ મળ્યા છે. વોલન્ટિયર્સમાં કોઇ નેગેટિવ સાઇડ ઇફેક્ટ દેખાયા નથી.

રશિયાએ દાવો કર્યો છે કે તેમણે કોરોનાની જે વેક્સિન તૈયાર કરી છે તે ક્લિનિકલ ટ્રાયલમાં 100 ટકા સફળ રહી છે. ટ્રાયલના રિપોર્ટ પ્રમાણે જે વોલન્ટિયર્સને વેક્સિન આપવામા આવી હતી તેમની અંદર વાયરસ વિરુદ્ધ લડવા માટે રોગ પ્રતિકારક શક્તિ વિકસિત થઇ છે.
